Red Rose Sangha
The Red Rose Sangha (www.redrosesangha.org) is a lay community (sangha) of people interested in practicing Zen Buddhism. Our community offers beginning instruction in Zen meditation (zazen) and supports the meditation practices of its members through weekly Sittings, retreat opportunities with other sanghas, text sudy, and service projects in the broader community.
Our weekly service consists of 25 minutes of zazen, walking meditation (kinhin), a Dharma talk or reading, followed by another 25 minutes of zazen. We meet in Emerson Hall (downstairs) at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Lancaster, PA every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m.
