Our Whole Lives (OWL): 7th-9th Grade

OWL is a comprehensive sexuality course that covers a wide range of topics such as values, anatomy and physiology, relationships, communication skills, decision-making, sexual roles, homosexuality, and birth control. The class combines small group activities, discussions, guest speakers, and teacher presentations.

This class is offered every other fall and runs for 27 weeks beginning in September and ends in early May 2008. The first class is a parent orientation, and the second class is a student orientation. The course will be offered at the church on Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Regular attendance is essential.

Pre-registration has already taken place. Limited space is still available for this class. To find out if the class has space contact Kate Prisby at the church office, 393-1733 ext. 202. The cost of the course will be $45, which includes the book, Changing Bodies, Changing Lives. Payment is not expected until parents and students have attended their respective orientation classes and signed permission slips.
